The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) is the most reputable and most stringent accrediting body in the country. At present, AUF has the greatest number of PAASCU accredited programs in Central Luzon.

AUF has the greatest number of Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development among private higher education institutions in Central Luzon. These distinctions are conferred by CHED upon colleges and universities which continuously demonstrate excellent performance and potential in the areas of instruction, research and publication, extension and linkages and other institutional qualifications.

ISO 9001-2008 Certification
AUF was the first higher education institution in Central Luzon granted ISO 9001-2000 certification by TUV-SUD in 2008 and is the only private university north of Manila that is ISO 9001-2008 certified by TUV-SUD.
Certification from the Canadian Council of Engineering Technicians and Technologists
AUF is the only university in Pampanga given the “Technologist” certification for its programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering; and “Technician (+)” certification for its BS Information Technology and BS Biology programs. This certification facilitates the international mobility of AUF graduates and provides a distinct advantage in today’s competitive workplace.
